We are putting together the core creative team for an independent Telugu feature film scheduled to shoot in the Dallas/DFW area in early 2027.

I'm based in the Minneapolis area and am looking for a local Cinematographer / Director of Photography who would like to come aboard the project early and collaborate through the pre-production process.

Over the next few months, we plan to do camera tests, lighting tests, test shoots, previsualization and shot planning here in Minnesota before traveling to Dallas for principal photography.

This could be a great opportunity for an aspiring or emerging cinematographer who wants to gain feature-film experience and have a meaningful creative role in shaping the visual language of the movie.

The film is a contained thriller with dark-comedy elements, primarily taking place over one night around a secluded house/cabin and surrounding wooded areas.

We are currently planning around the Sony FX5, though the camera, lenses, lighting approach and overall look will be developed collaboratively with the DP.

This is a non-paid independent project. Travel to Dallas, accommodation/stay, and food during production will be covered.
