Asian Women United of Minnesota (AWUM)

Asian Women United of Minnesota (AWUM) is a non-profit organization based in the 
Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, serving the entire state of Minnesota. 
AWUM is made up of women and men who believe in every woman's right to a life of 
peace, wholeness, and happiness, including a life free from emotional, physical, or 
sexual abuse. Our programs and expertise focus on Asian families, but our mission 
includes all domestic violence victims. 

AWUM, is providing assistance, counseling, and resources to victims of violence. If you 
have been abused by a spouse, intimate partner, family member, or are 
in an unhealthy relationship, call us and we can help you get to 
safety and address your questions. We also work with mail-order 
brides, victims of prostitution, refugees, and victims of human 
trafficking.

We can guide you through the immigration process, legal matters, 
resume writing & job search, check to see if you qualify for 
financial assistance, as well as provide you with housing 
resources.
