| Hi to all music lovers. I teach Carnatic Music for begginers. I also teach Annamaacharya keerthanas and slokas from bhagavatgeetha too. If you are interested to learn our precious music, feel free to contact me or mail me. Warm Regards Mrs. Sada Some interesting information about our music history:- The great composer of carnatic music PURANDARADASA [1484-1564] is hailed as the father of carnatic music. He created a set of fundamental exercises nearly 500 years ago, which are followed even today. The trinity of carnatic music who are inspired by Purandaradasas' compositions are: SHYAMASASTRI [1763 - 1847 AD] MUTHU SWAMY DIKSHITAR [1776 - 1835] THYAGARAJA [1767 - 1847] ANNAMACHARYA [1408 - 1503] is an incarnation of lord Balaji's Nandakam or sword. He composed 32000 sankeerthanas out of which 12000 sankeerthanas have been found and only 2000 keerthanas could be bought in consonance with the present form of language practice. His son Pedda Tirumalacharya and grand son Chinna Tiruvengalanatha aka Chinnanna continued to spread the divine raagas and sankeerthanas of Annamayya. As today's generation, it is our responsibility to continue the tradition of learning and practicing our divine classical music which is a precious gift given by our Acharyas. Let us spread the divine love of music to all. Thank you. Mrs. Sada | |||||||
