Lunch buffet review. 4 stars because I am just thankful to have a place in Plymouth that I can get my naan on in between meetings. The chicken tikka like dish was awesome. It is super clean and has comfy booths with white table cloths. I really want to make friends here so I can grub with someone else that likes Indian food. :) Cool to bring customers here and groups.
Make sure you save room for the honey dough nut balls-or the mango yogurt. yum um yum!

  • The food here is really good, which I didn't expect to find way out in the suburbs. I have been here several times now that they have changed names and menus and have not had a bad dish. I tend to have the vegetarian dishes though often my friends get the meat ones so I get to taste them. The Mixed Pakora is a great appetizer with a very good mint chutney. My favorite dishes have been the Bangan Bharta (spelling?) which is an eggplant dish, and the Lamb Rogan Josh. The Shrimp Balti was also quite good as well, and I could name others! My favorite naan is their Peshawari naan (stuffed with cashews and raisins) and they have delicious rice pudding for desert. They have a nice selection of wines and beers and also have delicious chai tea. Or if you want something a bit sweeter, I would recommend the Mango Lassi. If you feel like eating at home, they also do take-out :)

  • New Owners, New Owners, and better ones if you ask me!  I referred my business contacts to him what a guy!  The food is great, the chicken tikka is amazing, they have salmon and shrimp in their grill platter, its simply delectable.  I usually go to the other india palace in Roseville, but this is one far more family oriented, the whole family was there when I went, and they really care about their clients!  Great food, and especially great  service.  If you like spicy let them know they can do it!

I love it!! It's the only actually good ethnic food in Plymouth. Food is always wonderful, never had a bad dish and have eaten there more times than I can count. As far as service, it's not in your face annoying. They are attentive, never forget things, and always friendly. We have never had to wait long for our food. We eat there with our kids all the time (young kids) and they are always very friendly to our kids as well. My kids adore the Makhani.  I cannot say enough good things about it. It's a gem in this bleak, lack of good food of a suburb we live in. We travel a lot and I'd compare it to food I've had on Divan St. in Chi-town. it's good stuff!

Since coming back home to Minnesota after living in India for a while, I was disappointed by the lack of good Indian restaurants here.  Today I got around to trying India Palace in Plymouth.  It was really very good.  The Chicken Makhani, Veg Biryani, Chapati, Dosa, Tandoori Nan and Rajma Masala were all quite tasty.  The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and pleasant.  I will definitely be going back.

India Palace never disappoints!  The service is always friendly and the food is delicious.  The lunch buffet always has a good vegetarian selection.  Like all other Indian buffets I've been to in the area, the offerings are never very spicy -- but I expect that in MN.  Ordering off the menu you can request the dishes hot and they have a great kick to them. :)  Highly recommended.

Last week, we ordered catering with India Palace Restaurant, the food was excellent, everyone who came over to my house was loved the food and everyone of them inquired from where we ordered the food. We feel this place one of the best place in Twin Cities, Before we ordered, we felt little bit uncomfortable as recently the Management of the Restaurant has changed, we can see the difference before and after the management change.

You won't regret if you order the food from them. This is for Restaurant...Maintain the quality and keep up the good work.

We've never been to this restaurant nor have we tasted their food before .We were little tensed on how its gonna turn out when we placed order for our party. Convinience for pickup was the only reason we went with India Palace. But now on, thats not going to be the reason- It will be  the quality of your  food. The quantity was also perfect for our party. On top of that, service was excellent too. It was so easy and pleasant to work with Mr Pramod. Thank You

New management has greatly improved the restaurant. I've been frequenting  the Plymouth location for a year and was always missing the Eden Prairie location.  Not anymore!  Tonight's meal was the best Indian food I have had.  The lamb is higher quality and they are more generous with their portions.  I also got the Keema Naan and it was stuffed with lots of filling! Big improvement. over previous management Best ethnic restaurant in Plymouth!

Since I was introduced to the original restaurant I was very excited to find the new restaurant near my home. I love the decor, very elegant and inviting. Great location. Excellent food! Everything so good I could not pick a favorite. A very nice variety, something for everyone.
